Learn English in India with an American Family

Greetings! I would like to introduce myself to you. My name is Crystal Zachariah, and I am an American currently living in India. I have a degree in Teaching English as a Second Language. I have 3 Children, (all boys– 17,14 and 10). My oldest son, is studying in the U.S., the younger two, are living with us here. My husband is a Pilot with Indian Airlines. We live in a Gated Community, in a 3 bedroom house. We have a black lab named Julia, who is very loving, and would probably lick you to death! We would like to open our home to anyone willing to come to India to spend time learning English with me and our family! It is proven that students benefit immeasurably from conversing in English in a relaxed, natural situation, such as over meals and staying with a family that only speaks English! Listed below are the details of what you can expect staying with our family during your English Lessons: Accommodation: Full-board (Minimum Stay 4 weeks) this includes: Own room with attached bath ( 1 bed, 1 desk) 3 meals daily, maid service, kitchen, laundry, Internet, communal living room, gym, pool, badminton court, secured gated community. A pre-paid cell phone (the cost of calls would be borne by the students! ) Our house has 4 a/c’s ( 1 in each Bedroom, and the living room a/c is on 16 hours per day) English Course: This would be catered to the need of the student. Personalized English Program : Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking. You would be guaranteed between 3-5 hours of English Coaching Daily 5 days per week. Activities: We encouraged you share activities with our family! We would like you to feel at home in our house and celebrate traditions, holidays and general customs of our house and India! Transportation: We will pick you up from the airport and drop you back, but general shopping, entertainment, etc… we can arrange transportation with a cab company, but expenses would be borne by the student.
