Hi there, We live in a modest 5 bedroom house in the suburb of Hillcrest on the North side of Auckland City. Our location is situated in a safe, clean and quiet residential area. We are also only 20 minutes from Auckland City by bus. Our family home is mostly suited for students who wish to stay the minimum of 3 months or more. Close by are supermarkets, restaurants, library, medical center, pharmacy, fitness center, swimming pools, and shopping malls. We have been hosting for over 10 years now and we are still loving it. It has all day sun and is very warm with a great view. Plenty of storage and light and very quiet. Right at the end of the house. Capacity: 1 Rates: Weekly / Monthly House Rules: The only house rules we have are the ones we have grown up with and respected all our lives. We treat our overseas students like our own children. So bearing that in mind it's just a matter of common sense. We are a one unit family so we are all under the same rules. Treat others as they would treat you. Please enjoy your stay and treat our home as you would treat your own home. PAYMENT METHOD : Please note that we require our guests to pay 50% of the booking total to us in advance of the booking to hold your room (on top of the 15% deposit that is paid to Homestay.com). The balance to be paid on arrival. If you would like to be picked up from the airport I can easily arrange for that at no cost. CANCELLATION POLICY : We ask our guests to please give us at least 30 days notice for any cancellation. Any cancellation later than this will not be refunded. Additional Info: We have been hosting overseas students now for over 10 years from all over the globe and we thoroughly enjoy the company and learning the different cultures. We've head students stay with us from 6 months up to 2 years because they love it here which tells you a lot. We speak english in the house everyday and to our new students who speak very little English. We try and help and teach our homestay students as much as we can to give them a head start with their studies. We sit down and help with their homework which is lot of fun because we enjoy doing it. We are one big happy family.
