Property Description

We are 3 kilometers outside of Olhão in the countryside of the Algarve, the jewel of the Algarve, where time has stood still. Olhão is a fishing port that lives on the rhythm of the tides. Here, you will come looking for simple things: sunshine for three hundred days a year, a cobalt blue horizon, and raw nature. What we like about it is its neo-Moorish architecture, its Ria Formosa natural park (considered one of the 7 wonders of Portugal), its string of solar islands, its daily market, and its fresh gastronomy from the sea. With an annual average of 3000 sunshine hours and over 300 days of sun a year, the Algarve is one of Europe's sunniest places. During the spring and autumn months from March to October, the temperatures in the Algarve average a pleasant 18°C to 19°C, which is accompanied by plenty of sunshine. We have yoga, cross-fit, surf, and kitesurf classes available upon request, and gym facilities are available for your use. If you require a boat trip or SUP, they are available upon request. The variety of sports available: cycling path: only a 30-minute cycle takes you to fuzeta and Tavira; surfing, kite surfing, and SUP from local beaches. Our property is an intimate and rural coliving with 5 bedrooms (only suite). It offers you 300 square meters entirely designed to optimize your remote working conditions at the epicenter of the natural paradise of the Algarve: the Ria Formosa and all its wonderful islands. It lies at the heart of a 15-acre apricot family farm and was created to offer you a calm, warm, and comfortable coliving and coworking place with multiple escape possibilities that is easily accessible (by bike or car). Our goal is to offer you the best environment in which to work and recharge your batteries. We do not have a swimming pool yet, but we do have a warm and nice Jacuzzi in the garden . Our goal is to be a place for freelancers, digital nomads, businesses, and anyone looking for a calmer, stress-free way of life while working remotely. We are more than just a remote work experience. It’s about finding your people and making meaningful connections. We want our guests to be able to share authentic life experiences during their stay, whether working, doing sports, or discovering the Algarve. At the property, our community lives around two main themes: sports and cooking. You can enjoy private yoga or TABATA/HIIT classes together with our local personal trainers and two dinners per week that we organize together. We can arrange specific trips or excursions and pass on our advice and recommendations. There are also other activities, such as stand-up paddleboarding, kitesurfing, and kayaking. It is also possible to book daily excursions that include lunch and transport to the surrounding countryside, lakes, or beaches. Room(s): 1. Although we love all pets, we might have members with potential allergies, so, unfortunately, we can’t allow people to bring pets with them. We want to make sure everyone can be happy in their communal home. We look for open-minded, considerate individuals who are looking for an opportunity to share a beautiful home with other exciting people. You are allowed to check-in earlier if the room is ready. You may get in contact with us the day before you move in to coordinate. If you wish to check out late, you are free to use our communal areas. We gladly accept co-signers for applicants with limited credit history or income. We do not check your credit history. The main factors to be accepted into our community are honesty, transparency, and the purpose of your trip. Security deposits are typically returned within 8-10 business days after your stay ends. We will review your room for any excessive damage that would impact your security deposit return. Normal wear and tear are expected. Guests are allowed in the visiting area but NOT in the bedrooms. Strictly no guests overnight. Be aware that we can assume no liability for your guests or their possessions. As this is essentially a working environment, our facilities aren’t baby-proofed or child-friendly. Having kids around can be a major distraction for other colivers and you. So, it’s a no. We do not accept pets. By law, we allow service dogs. Our staff is allowed to ask two questions to determine what service the animal provides if it's not obvious: 1. Is the dog a service animal required because of a disability? and 2. What work or task has the dog been trained to perform? We define service animals as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. Examples of such work or tasks include guiding people who are blind, alerting people who are deaf, pulling a wheelchair, alerting and protecting a person who is having a seizure, reminding a person with mental illness to take prescribed medications, calming a person with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) during an anxiety attack, or performing other duties. Service animals are working animals, not pets. The work or task a dog has been trained to provide must be directly related to the person’s disability. Dogs and pets whose sole function is only to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA, and will not be allowed. ADA Info: https://adata.org/guide/service-animals-and-emotional-support-animals Of course. If a room is released and you want to move in, you will have the opportunity to pay the rent difference. We may also charge an additional room cleaning fee. Smoking is strictly prohibited in any part of the building. That includes all private and communal rooms, hallways, balconies, etc. If you choose to smoke, please make sure you do so away from the building entrance, and please make sure you dispose of cigarette butts properly. Yes. We will provide updated info once you have moved in. On the weekday, quiet hours are from 10 pm to 7 am, and 12 am to 9 am on weekends. As with any shared housing scenario, the golden rule is to be respectful of others in your community and not wake them up or disturb them if they’re trying to have a quiet night. It’s your home, so feel free to enjoy a drink whenever you wish, so long as you are respectful of your housemates. If you want to party, make sure you do that away from the property. We recommend that you have renters insurance. Otherwise, the usual cost of your food, possessions, transit, etc., is your own. Storage lockers and parking are additional costs.
