The property is located in the multicultural neighbourhood of Mouraria. A mark in Portuguese history is where the Moors lived before the Portuguese reconquest and where Fado was born. Mouraria serves food from all over the world, hosts a mini-"Chinatown", and owns the most beautiful tiled façades and the most beautiful views over Lisbon. The sense of community is inherent to the neighbourhood, and the thriving artistic atmosphere is also becoming part of its DNA. There is no way to get bored around the Mouraria. We are the first creative co-living space in Lisbon, founded by a locally-based team. The project is building a creative and sustainable neighborhood in the capital of Portugal: a space made up of a coliving home, two creative and artistic coworking spaces, Beco and Esquina, and our own sustainable restaurant and cultural event venue.   The property was brought into being by our urge to build a place based on creativity and community that could provide a different way of living. In addition to establishing a place where people could rest, create, and belong/linger, we wanted to have our personal values reflected in the entire project—sustainability, community, respect, diversity, sharing, local and circular economy, art, and culture—in the hopes of becoming a viable solution to some of the biggest challenges we face today. Our Coliving ranges from shared rooms to private ones in shared or private apartments. What is included? All energy and water bills, weekly room cleaning, linen and towel changes. Amenities:  Air conditioning/heaters; superfast wi-fi; secured door entry; and code-lock doors. Access to: Hot desk at the co-working space, private events, and creative community, which provides a lot of networking opportunities. SHARED ROOMS It has only four shared rooms—two for two people and two for three people—all of which have access to two shared bathrooms with shower. Beside the rooms, we have a shared open-plan living area with a fully equipped kitchen, a generous dining table, and a private terrace. All spaces are totally furnished with 60’s iconic design pieces. PRIVATE ROOMS Bedrooms—ideal for 1 or 2 people—all have a private bathroom with private a bathroom w/ shower and a king-size bed.  Besides the rooms, we have a shared open-plan living area with a fully equipped kitchen and a generous dining table, and some have access to a private terrace too. All spaces are totally furnished with 60’s iconic design pieces. STUDIOS Completely renovated studios. Some are located on the building’s façade, so they have a street view and lots of natural light; some have access to a private terrace or a small balcony. On daily basis you will also have the opportunity to co-work with local creatives by booking a sit in one of our co-working spaces. From the kitchen to the living room and any other corners you can find around the co-living. Except if you book a private apartament, then you don’t have to share the kitchen and living room. On a daily basis, since this is your home as well, we are counting on you to keep our shared spaces organized. We don’t cook on a daily basis, but we (the team behind this project) love to make community dinners, invite you to have dinner somewhere else or be pleased by the meal you would prepare for us. After all, sharing is caring. What is not included in the fee is the access to the co-works owned by samesame, to any gym or laundry services, portuguese classes or free groceries (although you have access to a free organic fruit and vegetables’ basket each week :)) . We have special rates negotiated with some partners that can help you to get access to these type of commodities. You have place to take a sit and work – as you would do in any other house. However, if you are looking for a creative and productive environment, we built two creative spaces around the corner, with special fees for its residents. Different types of events are organized every week to connect the community. From “community first” events such as family meals, wellness, creative, cultural, exploring and solidarity events. To make it easier for each co-liver to decide if they need a place to work or not – this fee is not included in the final price. But we have a special price for our co-livers, making it a 7€ per day fee :). We dreamt of a close like-minded community, so there are a total of nine bedrooms, 5 in the 2nd floor and 5 in the 3rd floor. In each bedroom you are expected to find a bed with an high end mattress, climate control, an in-room wardrobe. Some rooms also have balconies and terraces, applying for one of these depends availability. There is a private bathroom inside each bedroom and you can count with weekly cleaning and changed linens and towels. Upon request, yes, We do have a co-working space where you have for free a hot desk or a fixed one for a special rate. You will co-live with a like-minded worldwide community of amazing people from early twenties to late thirties. They are only allowed in private apartments: 1 Bedroom Apartment, 2 Bedroom Apartment, and Studios. It depends on the kind of room you will stay - as we have from shared to private ones. But we have designed specific spots in order for you to have some hidden places to enjoy silence.
